December 5th 2018 marks our 9th year open as a company, and although we've grown and changed a lot over the years, the same core principles and values have always remained, this is something that we pride ourselves on and believe is a huge factor in our success as a company.

One of the most important things that has always been at the heart of our company is how we source our coffee. Over the years we here in 3fe (and you guys by extension) have been fortunate to have received some incredible coffees which have come on the back of the incredible relationships and networks that we have forged over the years, thanks to our friend and green buyer, Stephen Leighton.

Stephen knows so much about sourcing coffee he could write the book on it (and has :) )

This December 5th, we would like to invite you to celebrate our birthday with us! We will be hosting an evening in our roastery, hosted by our friend and green bean sourcer, Stephen Leighton.

On the evening, Steve will tackle some of the tricky questions we get asked again and again in relation to the sourcing of our green coffee, delving into the struggles and highlights of these relationships and digging into the nuts and bolts of coffee sourcing at 3fe.

Each bag of green on our racking tells a story, and Steve will take guests through the background information of each of the coffees we have roasted this year and what makes each of them so special.

Tickets cost €10.00 which covers your entrance to the event, as well as light refreshments on the night, with all proceeds going to our friends at Wells for Zoe, an amazing Irish voluntary organisation, who focus on enabling those living in rural poverty in Northern Malawi access to clean, safe drinking water, and have given over 500,000 people clean water as a result since 2005.
