Coffee lover, café owner in Limerick city.

2) Have you ever entered a coffee competition before?
Yes! I have entered the Irish Barista championship in 2016, the brewers cup in 2017 and aeropress championship 2016.

3) What is your favourite thing about the AeroPress?
Versatility - you can work with practically any grind size and get a decent cuppa.

4) What would your autobiography be called?
The one true king,a hero among mere mortals👑

5) If you could have any coffee superpower, what would it be?
Refractometer Lazer eyes

6) What coffee producing country would you most like to visit and why? Hmmm...Ethiopia, apart from the amazing coffees that are produced there I’ve heard the people are very welcoming there.

7) You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
Chartreuse because nobody would use me and I’d be left in bed in peace.

8) If you were trapped on a desert island, what 3 things would you bring?
Box of crayons made up of only chartreuse colours. One piece of paper. Stamped envelope.

I’d prefer to be an insect, more exactly a bumblebee because I make that sweet sweet nectar.

I worked full time as an Artist for years before committing to a career coffee. I currently manage a café in Cork City.

2) Have you ever entered a coffee competition before?
Yes, I took part in the cork city Aeropress competition twice.

3) What is your favourite thing about the AeroPress?
I like to travel a lot and the Aeropress is a simple way to brew amazing coffee on the road.

4) What would your autobiography be called?
My Dog ate my Homework.

5) If you could have any coffee superpower, what would it be?
The ability to sneeze coffee like a Blastoise (from Pokemon).

6) What coffee producing country would you most like to visit and why? Ethiopia, I’d love to see some Gelada monkeys happily grazing in the wild.

7) You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
Whatever colour a magic unicorn is, I’d like to feel magical.

8) If you were trapped on a desert island, what 3 things would you bring?
My wife, a lifetime supply of Avocados and all the sun cream I could manage.

An Otter as I enjoy eating off my belly.

My name is Sian, I'm a film photographer/illustrator and barista from Dublin.

2) Have you ever entered a coffee competition before?
No, first time!

3) What is your favourite thing about the AeroPress?
I like that the Aeropress is easy to use and I don't have to spend 3 hours trying to clean it.

4) What would your autobiography be called?
Wrecked But Lit: A Sian Conway Story.

5) If you could have any coffee superpower, what would it be?
My coffee superpower would be cleaning the grinder with my mind.

6) What coffee producing country would you most like to visit and why?
I'd love to visit Ethiopia for it's beautiful natural landscapes and vegan food.

If I was a new Crayola colour I'd be Cyan, naturally.

8) If you were trapped on a desert island, what 3 things would you bring?
I'd bring a hot guy, a hot girl and a copy of Voulez-Vous by ABBA on vinyl.

Trash but fab.

Call The Shots by Girls Aloud.

11) If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
If I was an animal I'd be a bat because I'm blind and constantly bump into things.

I slept in the front porch of my house the other night cos I forgot my keys and didn't wanna wake my housemates up by ringing them.

1) Briefly tell us about yourself.
I'm Alex and I work with Three Fools Coffee in Cork City. I've been working in Coffee for almost two years, and I love it!

2) Have you ever entered a coffee competition before?
I've entered a few the Irish Brewers Cup, Liberties Brewers Cup and Cork Aeropress Competition. Did a latte art throwdown too, but lets not talk about that...

3) What is your favourite thing about the AeroPress?
That it's so versatile. Any slight difference in a recipe can change your brew massively. That's what makes it fun!

4) What would your autobiography be called?
What I Don't Know About Running Coffee Shops.... ;)

5) If you could have any coffee superpower, what would it be?
The power to keep drinking coffee without the caffeine effecting me!

6) What coffee producing country would you most like to visit and why?
Panama. I used a Natural Geisha from Los Lajones estate in Panama in the Brewers Cup so I want to see where it was grown!

7) You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
The colour that always stays inside the lines. I struggled with that in school...

8) If you were trapped on a desert island, what 3 things would you bring?
Coffee, filters & fireworks.

Passionate, Unassuming, Student.

I got stung on my tongue by a bee. It wanted my club orange, I wanted my club orange. It wasn't fun.

My name is Ste and I work as a barista in 3fe Sussex Terrace. Best known for my extras work in Into The Badlands Season 2. I'm a musician and got into speciality coffee drinking silly amounts of 3fe filter in a recording studio in Donegal while making an album.

2) Have you ever entered a coffee competition before?
Nope. Lets see what happens :)

3) What is your favourite thing about the Aeropress?
It was my first brewer so will always have a place close to my heart

Coffee Superman

I'm content with my current coffee superpowers at the moment

El Salvador. Pretty place, pretty coffee.

Strawberry blonde so that no more kids have to suffer being drawn with orange hair like I did

Owner of The Counter Deli (wine shop, deli and coffee shop) in Letterkenny. Reformed accountant. Father of 2 brats. Lover of craft beer, Burgundy Pinot Noir & coffee. Enjoys a run (when 40 year old body isn’t broken down, which is often).

2) Have you ever entered a coffee competition before?
Yup - glorious first round exit last year

3) What is your favourite thing about the AeroPress?
Portability - great for travel (what everyone says)!

Jedi mind control over awkward cafe customers.

Colombia. Great diverse coffee and a touch of danger!

1) Briefly tell us about yourself. My name is Rebecca and I’m 22 and just graduated from university with an English and History degree. I’ve been working in a coffee shop called Coffee Works in Lucan for the past year and have made a few aeropress’ in my time since working as a barista.

2) Have you ever entered a coffee competition before? Nope! This will be my first.

3) What is your favourite thing about the AeroPress? It’s a versatile coffee brewing method, with a large scope of manipulation for body, acidity and taste plus its quick and easily mobile.

4) What would your autobiography be called? Probably something like ‘We also have Oatmilk’ because I love the stuff and always offer it to customers looking for a dairy alternative as I don’t drink dairy milk for ethical reasons.

5) If you could have any coffee superpower, what would it be? To be able to grind coffee beans by the fingertips

6) What coffee producing country would you most like to visit and why? Ethiopian because natural Ethiopians are my favourite coffee to brew and it would be interesting to visit the country of origin for coffee!

7) You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What colour would you be and why? Dark green because all good things come from growth and I’m definitely a (coffee included) plant person

8) If you were trapped on a desert Island, what 3 things would you bring? My cat, a soda stream for sparkling water and a tool box

9) Describe yourself in three words. Eccentric, empathetic and curious

10) Name a song that best describes your coffee skills? Probably ‘Don’t stop me now’ by Queen because it’s how I feel when I’m in the flow and after I’ve had a coffee myself.

11) If you were an animal, what would you be and why? A cat because I can just be one with all the eventual cats I’ll probably adopt

12) A fact about yourself that you’re embarrassed to admit to a room of new people. I’ve purchased three glass keepcups and have broken all three including a customers…I can be clumsy…
