1) Briefly tell us about yourself.
Hi, my name is Mikolaj, I’m 21 years old and I’m a barista at Vice Coffee Inc.

2) Have you ever entered a coffee competition before?
No

3) What is your favourite thing about the Aeropress?
Apart from the fact how quickly you can make a great cup of coffee, it also doesn’t talk back at me in the morning.

4) What would your autobiography be called?
Fill In The Blanks

5) And who would play you when said autobiography is made into a film?
Jack Black!

6) What coffee producing country would you most like to visit and why?
Columbia maybe? I hear the food and music is great… and coffee too obviously.

7) Any hidden talents?
Making low fidelity, jazz infused music

8) If you were trapped on a desert island, what 3 things would you bring?
A hammock, a pair of sunglasses and maybe some icy cold brew. Since survival is not an option for me anyway, I might as well chill out and enjoy myself while I can.

9) Describe yourself in 3 words.
Mellow, hopeless idealist

10) Name of a song that best describes your coffee skills.
Chester Watson - Time Moves Slower Here

11) If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
Definitely a sloth.Vegan, mellow and still getting stuff done (just a little slower)

12) What first drew you to working in the coffee industry and if you weren’t working in the coffee industry, what would you be doing?
What drew me in at first is who I met I think? If you’re a caffeine addict, you might as well go at it with cool, passionate people around you. Don't think we’d enjoy ourselves half as much if it weren't for all the wonderful lunatics we meet along the way to a better cup of coffee. If I wasn't working in this industry I’d probably be doing something related to music and media which is what I did in college.

13) Whats the best coffee experience you've had to date?
I’ve had many wonderful experiences with coffee but one that still stands out is the first time I ever went to Tim Wendelboe’s coffee shop in Oslo. Very tranquil atmosphere and amazing coffee.

14) If you could have any coffee superpower, what would it be?
To not spill coffee so regularly would be very cool.
