I’m Stephen Leighton, owner of Rojito Coffee in Stockholm.

Rojito is a cafe that's part of a craft beer bar and brewery called Älska Öl Bryggeri.

Drop Coffee located in the heart of Södermalm, Drop Coffee is a must-visit for coffee lovers. (Full disclosure: I’m a part-owner.)

Pascal is another excellent spot for coffee, Pascal at Skånegatan 76, offers a cozy atmosphere and a superb selection of brews

A must go to Brunch Spot

Greasy spoon Tjärhovsgatan 19 Irish breakfast style to make you a little homesick.

Where would you recommend for lunch?

If you’re in the mood for BBQ, head to Brisket and Friends in Södermalm. This fun and casual spot serves up some of the best BBQ in the city.

If you’re fond of a little snack and stroll?

Urban Deli at Nytorget is a cool place to grab a snack. Enjoy their nice outdoor seating and explore this trendy part of town.

A casual dinner ?

For a classic Swedish dinner, head to Kalf and Hansen. Known for their delicious meatballs, this small but lively spot is a local favorite.

If you like a bit of Fine dining ?

One of my personal favorites for fine dining in Stockholm. Ekstedt offers a fantastic culinary experience.

Wine?

For wine enthusiasts, Ninja Wine Bar is a gem with an awesome wine selection and great snacks to match.

Beer?

For an exceptional experience, visit their taproom out of town at Omnipollo Kyrka one of the best I’ve ever been to.

If you love beer, Omnipollo is a must-visit. Not only do they offer some of the best craft beers, but they also serve amazing pizza.

What are all the other places you wanted to mention above?

Looking for typical Swedish food with a fun twist? Nomad is the place to go.

Tyge & Sessil is a great wine bar with a lovely atmosphere. Perfect for a relaxed evening.

Hernö Gin Bar for top-notch cocktails, Hernö Gin Bar is unbeatable.

Everything Else

Cultural activity ?

A boat trip out to the archipelago, you can do this for 4 Euro with your card you will use for the metro or buses in town, a fantastic way to see the nature where you can hop on and hop off.

Fitness Activity ?

A walk or jog around Djurgarden, the home of the funfair and the abba museum and zoo.

What's the one thing people need to know about your town/city before they arrive?

Don't hire a car, use the public transport it's far easier to get around (and cheaper) don't stay in the Centre, check out the other parts of town, don't bother with cash, it's completely cashless (I haven't had cash for over 4 years).

What should people definitely not do in your town/city that everyone always does?

Avoid Gamla Stan (the old town) full of tourists and way way over priced.

Best atmosphere in your city

Soldermalm is the heart of the city, all the cool stuff is there.

Best time to come ?

Summer summer summer, if you come in the winter make sure to bring the biggest warmest jacket you don't yet own.

Best Viewing Spot ?

Maria Berget near Drop coffee a great viewing point for the city, if you have ever looked at pictures of stockholm online it was probably taken here.
